Veterinarian and Pet Care in Birmingham, AL

We have found our new veterinarian home. I have a very sick boy who needs a lot of care and deserves the best. This was found at Cahaba Animal Clinic. From the very first call to see if they even offered the procedure that my boy needed to the actual appointment, we received best in class care. My German Shepherd loves people, and he actually didn't want to leave because everyone was so sweet and caring towards him. Major Payne saw Dr. Mann. She was so kind and knowledgeable. She was able to clarify some of the questions that I had about his numerous trips to the cardiologist. I had no doubt that she loves animals and truly cared about my boy. All support staff were kind, professional, and amazing! I have nothing but the best things to say about every aspect of care!

I'd gladly give many more stars. Dr Wright has been out vet for about 30 years..long before CVAC. Over the years we've watched the business grow but it's always kept the same amazing care for all types of critters and they're people. His staff is equally amazing being able to be as involved and caring but still professional isn't easy when dealing with the situations that come up. Thank you to each and every one...my furry and scaled family would be lost without ya'll.

Love the staff and vets. We have used them for 6 years now for all of our needs. Annual check ups, sick visits, boarding….they treat our pups like they are their own!

After phoning as a new client I was so impressed with the kind and helpful service I received! I booked an appointment and again was thrilled with the care and services the Dr and manager provided me with! Having been worried about my kitty Violet 😺 I left so relieved knowing she will get healthy again. In addition the compassion they showed me was above and beyond! I HIGHLY recommend Cahaba Valley Animal clinic!

Really impressed! My dog had to have knee surgery, and a friend referred us to them. Really friendly staff who are clearly all huge pet lovers & the vet was a very personable, experienced guy who was very patient & informative. Highly recommend!

This animal clinic is the Best! They scheduled an appointment to see my dog quickly. The vet, Dr. Meyers, is awesome. Thorough exam. She even called the next day to check how Tiff was doing. I highly recommend them!

A little over a month ago, we found this guy under our deck with a wolfworm in his neck. Luckily we were able to catch him and bring him to Cahaba Valley Animal Clinic. They took great care of him, and he is now a part of our family! We named him Ghost 👻 I highly recommend CVAC because they truly care for their patients. Whenever I’m there now the staff asks how Ghost is doing, and all of them are super friendly in general! I really appreciate everything they have done for Ghost and our other furry friends. I can't give this place enough stars!! I'm visiting from out of town, and it has not been a good week for my boy Doja! He's a loving mid sized German Shepherd, and can intimidate most. The folks at CVAC didn't think so though. They accepted him with loving care. First he had an eye infection that had been going on since before I got here on my visit. After a couple days I needed to check him out. I took him in and he got the treatment he needed and caught up on his vaccine schedule. Two days later, I'm throwing a stick in the backyard and Doja runs face into it. He had a pretty good sized gash in the back of his mouth, almost at the throat. I was really concerned and rushed him to CVAC. They took immediate great care and made him feel comfortable. Dr. Wright stitched up Doja right away, and didn't miss a beat with his other appointments. I'm overly impressed with this wonderful staff, they made Doja and I feel comfortable the whole time. I'm grateful as not only was the service great, the surgical procedure was really affordable. Thank you so very much! 

Best animal clinic ever!! The staff is friendly and they love on my Nina every visit😊 When we feared the worst, my Nina pulled through, so thankful that she was taken care of by wonderful people

CVAC is the best! The staff were so sweet, helpful, and informative. My puppy #Lewis was really sick and they took phenomenal care of my sweet fur baby! Thanks to all. I’ll never use another vet. That’s coming from a nurse of 13 years!

I brought my little boy in in December to have him neutered & when I picked him up that afternoon he was in good spirits & when we got home it was as if nothing had ever happened to him! In fact I’m bringing in another baby of mine for the same procedure & I highly recommend CVAC to anyone & I know that I can bring any of my babies in & they’ll be taking care of.
